Summary
I’m a software engineer since 2001 and a full-time entrepreneur since
co-founding Kaaos Unlimited Oy in 2012.
From 2013 to the end of 2018 I supervised a team of 5-8 employees when Kaaos Unlimited Oy provided the ‘Artist Recruiting System’ SaaS. Our customers included global companies with over 10 000 employees, for example Wärtsilä, Valmet and SSAB. On average the job applicant website had over 900 000 page views per month, while the employer portal averaged on 200 000 page views per month. The service was discontinued in the end of 2018.
Since August 2019 I’ve been developing integrations / private applications for Shopify and WooCommerce e-commerce platforms using Ruby on Rails running on Heroku.
I became an entrepreneur because technical work alone isn’t enough. I wish to gain a better insight -outside the technical scope- on the problems we try to solve with software development, to have autonomy and the ability to promote values that I feel are important. Those values include:

On the technical side I’m most proficient in SW development, infrastructure management and IT operations on Linux platforms and for the past 9 years I’ve been working mostly with web applications.
